COSRX Two In One Poreless Power Liquid

After several days of working in this review, I am here ready for you. For me the skincare is is indispensable now in my daily life, because I discovered that it doesn´t matter how much time or effort you spend in your makeup If your skin is not in a good condition nothing else matters so now I take my skincare seriously. I have a specific routine and obviously, I starting being this as trial and error because I found I didn´t know so much about my skin type. I started with my skin being like oily skin, and now, in fact, my skin is sensitive combination and I guess I have good days and bad days. The skin is a body organ that works so much and everything involved respect to my skin.

I received this essence with my COSRX Set and If someone knows I really love this brand because makes me understand a little more about my skincare and my skin type and that I don´t need 10 products for making my skin look good and the reason is that that the skincare is a combination of everything. In this set of COSRX, I received this essence that the website claims to be in the middle to be the essence and a toner. I use this product like an essence after my toner and I´ve used this product around two months and this is a great complement in my skincare routine. So to start with this review. 

Ingredients

Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water, Butylene Glycol, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Water, Pentylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine Salicylate, Arginine, Betaine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Allantoin, Panthenol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Carbomer, Cassia Obtusifolia Seed Extract, Menthyl Lactate, Mentha Haplocalix Extract

The expiration date is 12 months after open the essence

I am not a chemistry I am physiician but thanks to a little of research I want to talk about some ingredients of this essence:

Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water: This contains in a natural form salicylic acid but in a natural form so is different from the salicylic acid itself and has anti-inflammatory properties too so this particular and the first ingredient helps to soothe the skin.

Of course, this is an extract similar to salicylic acid (similar not equal) and that has to be subjected to a chemical process to be effective.

Betaine Salicylate: This is one of my favorite ingredients because it is gentle with my sensitive skin and helps exfoliate but from the inside of the skin because it is, in fact, a BHA. If you want to read more about BHA Click HERE

Allantoin: This ingredient is used in most cases like moisturizer and calm skin irritations for me this is a great ingredient If you suffer from sensitive skin because of this calm my skin a lot.

Menthyl Lactate: Provides a cooling and calming effect. I know that this is used too like a fragrance because is a derivated of menthol and If you don´t like or your skin not tolerate the menthol probably is not the best for you. But this for me calms down my skin a lot.

Conclusions

I started this essence around two months y I started to feel the effect since the first usage. When I started this product my skin was through a process of redness, super sensitive and breakouts. I was super stressed I didn´t know idea what to do with my life (I don´t know what to do with my life yet) but my skin It was super sensitive and it was a pimple after another every day.

So I decided to change my skincare routine and have fewer products and new products so I changed my cleanser and I changed my essence to this one even I decided to use only this product for around 5 days on the night after my cleanser I noticed great results. First I noticed my skin calmed and It was and at the same time moisturized.

The first I noticed was my pores were tighter and less noticeable especially on my cheeks zone (the photo is of my cheeks). By the way, that is the first immediate effect, the cooling and refreshing.

Now the long-lasting effect is not tightening because this is only temporal, I could say that this tightening effect only last few hours. But the long-lasting effect is that this helps to heal faster the pimples and helps to pops ups the disgusting mix of serum blood and all the content that has a pimple naturally without too much trouble.

I have sensitive combination skin and I guess this is amazing for me because calms my skin reduces the size or at least the look of my pores. And I did not have any allergic reaction and  I am very happy with all the benefits. I want to recommend this product If you are looking for a product for your routine that helps you to calm down your skin.
