[JOLSE] JUICYFUL Vitalizer Tone-Up Cream 100ml Review

Hi Everyone!

This is a day for a new review. I want keep my steady pace with the korean cosmetics reviews. I don´t have a thing about the whitening creams but this has very interesting ingredients and principal I wanted try this product because I didn´t know nothing about this brand and I feel that always is great try new brands and new product out of my routine of the products that I am always interested. This product claims to be a product that helps to reduce the dull look and improve the dark areas in our body and face. I received this product in collaboration with Jolse in exchange of a honest review.

This product has really interesting ingredients and what promises is very interesting, so you are going to find in this review several details photos about this product. My short analysis about the ingredients, conclusions and how I recommend to use this product.

Analysis of Ingredients

When I checked the Ingredients I found that the mostly of Ingredients are really safe. And of course I found other that are safe but are in the line.

- Cyclopentasiloxane: This is the second ingredient after the water that is the first and this is a silicone that is used like conditioner. This silicone is pretty safe but probably is not the best for people with oily skin. This silicone produces the silky or velvet look in the skin.

- Butylene Glycol: The principal function is works in the product like a solvent and the second like moisturizer. This product is a small organic alcohol that works pretty well in the moisturizing effect but has the property that can be comedogenic or irritative even when is described like safe. So this is a second moisturizing ingredient and works like a stabilizer of viscosity so in conclusion this ingredients makes the product maintain the viscosity.

- Titanium Dioxide: Helps to absorbs UV light so this basically works like a blocker Uv and like a whitener agent. Provides a opacifying effect that provides a matte look in the skin when is used in a product.

- C12-15 alkyl benzoate: Works like an emollient and helps that the product has a good consistency and with so many moisturizing ingredients helps that product has less oily sensation.

Cyclohexasiloxane: Other silicone that basically is going to makes the skin more soft and helps to the fluidity in the consistency of this product. Works providing a barrier on the skin.

- Niacinamide: And the ingredient star of this product and the reason because I wanted tried is because like this is a derivative of Vitamin B3 that suppresses melanin from reaching the surface of the skin that is the reason because we can have age spots and hyper-pigmentation and provides some antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which is great. That is already comprobed so this is a pretty good ingredients.

So I am not going to continue because this could be a very long post but I can find Stearic Acid too that is not one of my favorite ingredients because is a fatty acid that is high comedogenic and which my skin in the past hasn´t reacted very well to this ingredient because caused me pimples and this ingredient is bad for oily skin. And for talk about otherinteresting ingredient is the Ceramid is other fatty acid that hepls to moisturize the skin.

So this product contains a lot of moisturizing ingredients so this could be amazing for dry skin because despite some ingredients is pretty safe.

JUICYFUL Vitalizer Tone-Up Cream 100ml

Back Side

This is sealed like this~

The color is completely white~

🌾 Packaging + Price: The box is super simple only the words with the name of the product has a soft texture different toe the rest of the box, the rest is very simple just like you can see this white but clean white tube. The price with discount for today at Jolse is $22.10 USD for me is a pricey product because only has 100 mL. But is very well known that the whitening creams are a bit pricey to difference to other products.

Conclusions

When I read about this product the first I thought was oh this can be super moisturizing and maybe is not great for my oily sensitve skin because I have my nose that is super oily and I was expecting this could be like a primer or like a korean base that makes an even tone. But when I tried this product the five times that I tried this product I found that this is just another version of the Secret Key SNOW WHITE Milky Pack and I felt the same sensation that four years ago when was my first encounter with a whitening cream. This doesn´t works like a primer or base for me. This is just simple another whitening korean cream for body and face. But obviously I can´t finish this review just like that.

And my theory is truth because you can go to the Cosdna and check the ingredients of the Secret Key SNOW WHITE Milky Pack and in comparison with the JUICYFUL Vitalizer Tone-Up Cream they are very similar. Of course I guess this product has more moisturizing ingredients and other that are more safe in the list but basically share same ingredients or at least like the first ingredients like is the case of Cyclopentasiloxane, Butylene Glycol, Titanium Dioxide and Niacinamide. So this proves that sticking feeling that I have with this product with that other whitening cream has a particular reason.

Sharing my personal experience with this product this has this talc and cakey feeling just few seconds after the application and even when you are applying If you don´t apply very quickly you can see that the application is not uniform. I have oily skin and I tried in the test pic any product just my bare skin and the skin after apply feels and looks cakey, with dry patches on my cheeks, this makes my pores specially in my cheeks and in my nose looks more noticeable.

The interesting is that even this product contains so many moisturizing ingredients the matte effect is so much for me. I am not looking for something like this because is cakey and uneven and nothing pretty. My skin looks better without nothing like you can see in my bare "before" skin that in the after that looks like I have a lot of trouble. I tried using a moisturizing cream before apply this product and worked better but in few minutes appear the dry patches. I don´t recommend this product and this review is part of a collaboration but I am not going to say or go to buy this because is the holy grail becuase that is not true. But I found that this could be useful in the body so move on to the last section of this review how I recommend to use this product.

And I need to finish saying that yeah provides an instantaneous withening effect that looks like you use a sunscreen that leaves a whitening layer on your skin that looks like a mask that is nothing pretty.

How I recommend to use this product?

I found that this works pretty well in my legs, my armpits, elbows and knees. So I recommend use this product after shower previous to the moisturizing cream for body. This provides a luminous effect for body and leaves the skin pretty soft and I am not sure why but the skin accepts better this product.

My elbows looks more soft and pretty and my legs looks more moisturized and luminous. But obvious the application must be energic and quick because this dryes really fast and obvious the application needs to be uniform because you doesn´t want one part more light than other. The body accepts this product better and smells talc and soft floral so I guess that is cute. If the neck is more dark than your face you could use this too there and works pretty nice. These are my recommendations in case that you want an use for this product.

  7. Yo llegué a probarla también a mi más o menos me gusto, porque en algunos caso note un ligero cambio en el tono, lo que no me gusta mucho es que en mi piel casi no se absorbe y me deja la piel con una capa blanca.

  14. That's the problem with some matte effect products. They can leave skin looking a bit dry :/
But I do like the fact that you can also use it as a body cream.
It's a really interesting product to read about. Thanks for sharing!!

  16. It's nice that you got this to try, but a shame that it didn't work for you. It would be frustrating to have a product make my skin look worse than before I put it on! It's nice you could come up with another use for this :)

Hope you are having a lovely weekend :) Going to be a little rainy here again but it should be a bit cooler too so I'm not complaining!
