Travelling is fun, exciting, and adventurous. It gives you the opportunity to visit new places, take part in new experiences, and meet new people along the way. One thing travelling is not, however, is glamourous. Unfortunately, it usually means leaving your creature comforts at home and embracing a more minimalist lifestyle, at least for the short term.
So, how can you maintain the stylish look you have perfected during your everyday life, while travelling and seeing the world? Fortunately, looking glam on the go doesn’t have to be complicated! Here are three ways you can still look stylish on your next trip.
1. Stock Up On Basics
It can be tempting to fill your bag with all your favorite ‘wow’ factor outfits that are sure to delight and impress no matter where you are. But when it comes to space in your luggage, this just isn’t practical and will end up, quite literally, weighing you down.
Instead, you’ll want to pack the essential basics that can be worn and re-worn in so many ways. For example, think of that cute black tank top you have hidden away in your wardrobe. While it may not be your go-to for a night out right now, it could be perfect for traveling. You can wear it with a pair of jeans and statement heels, especially if you dress it up with costume jewelry. You can also wear it with a pair of sports leggings to go on a hiking adventure to see some of the local attractions. It’s versatile and practical for a number of different situations while traveling, which is exactly what you want.
Do the same with your dresses. See if you have any that work for both day and night by simply adding a cute belt or statement piece of jewelry. Even better, opt for the ones that are wrinkle-free, so you can simply pull them out of your suitcase and pop them on no matter where you are.
2. Human Hair Extensions
They’re light, easy to use, and travel well. While you can’t necessarily fit your hair straightener, hair curler, and all those other handy products you use to achieve your ideal look, your Zala hair extensions can definitely make the trip.
If you are still worried about the suitcase space or having them get ruined in transit, you can always opt for the sew-in hair extensions. These wefts are sewn into tiny braids or cornrows on your head and can last for six to eight weeks. Depending on the length of your holiday, this could be exactly what you need.
Of course, you could also bring along your clip-in hair extensions or halo hair extensions, and pop them in on travel days. This means they never have to end up in your suitcase – you simply take them out at the end of the day and leave them in the hotel room while you sleep. Pop them back in the next morning and you’re good to go.
This is one of the easiest and best ways to stay stylish while traveling. You can give yourself long, glamorous locks each and every day no matter what your itinerary includes. Tie your strands up into a messy bun on top of your head for those all-important sightseeing days. Then, let your hair loose as you head out later to check out the nightlife.
3. Shoes
Let’s not forget the all-important shoes. You no doubt have a wardrobe full of them at home, yet they are very awkward and bulky when it comes to packing them in a suitcase. Sadly, this means most of them to have to be left behind, so you simply have to choose wisely.
Opt for bold, single-coloured shows that can be worn with a variety of the clothes you have packed. It helps to choose your clothes first, lay them out on the ground, and then bring out the shoes. You can hold some pairs up against the colours you have packed and see what works the best.
Great tips :)

ReplyDelete¡Hola, Saku!
Mucha suerte y bendiciones.
These are good tips. I'm already looking forward to traveling ...
As novas estirpes a circular, atingem sobretudo gente jovem! Cuide-se muito bem! Beijinhos! Saúde, para todos aí desse lado!

Good shoe choices are key while traveling. I look forward to when it will be safe to travel again.
ReplyDeleteGracias por los consejos. Te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteI think is seems like a lot of people over pack on clothes and shoes, and I over pack on my books and electronics lol. Either way it's hard to travel if someone can't pack light, but also use their luggage space effectively. I definitely agree with your tips, because why bring clothes that you might not be able to wear more than once if that, but also might not be comfortable.
ReplyDeleteGreat tips! I can't wait to travel again some day and hopefully can do it in style :)
